Sintered Stone vs Porcelain

Sintered stone and porcelain are often confused, but they're made differently. Sintered stone is formed from natural minerals under extreme heat and pressure — up to 1200°C — fusing particles without resins.
The result is a surface with near-zero porosity, high scratch resistance and true outdoor performance. Porcelain is typically thinner and relies more on a printed surface layer.
For benchtops, large islands and exterior use, sintered stone offers the strength and slab sizes most projects need.
