What is sintered stone?+
Sintered stone is made from 100% natural minerals compressed and fired at around 1200°C. The process fuses the particles without resins, creating a dense, non-porous surface.
Is sintered stone compliant with the engineered stone ban?+
Yes. Our sintered stone contains no resins or synthetic binders and is compliant with the engineered stone ban.
Does it need sealing?+
No. With water absorption under 0.05%, sintered stone never needs sealing.
Can I put hot pans on it?+
Yes — it is rated to 400°C contact heat. We still recommend trivets as good practice.
Can it be used outdoors?+
Absolutely. It is UV stable, frost resistant and warranted for outdoor kitchens, alfresco areas and facades.
What thicknesses are available?+
12mm and 6mm, depending on the design. Slabs are up to 3200 × 1600mm.
How do I order samples?+
Select up to three complimentary samples from the collection and submit your delivery details. Samples are posted to your door.
